The annual Public Service Career Fair (PSCF) is the largest public-sector recruitment program open to various law schools across Texas.

Participating Law Schools
PSCF offers both public interest and government employers the opportunity to conduct interviews for paid and unpaid summer and/or term-time internships, as well as postgraduate positions. 1Ls, 2Ls, 3Ls, domestic and foreign-trained LL.M.s, and recent graduates (up to one year after graduation) from all Texas law schools are eligible to participate. Scheduled interviews for this program will be awarded by 100% employer-selection.

This informational table-networking event offers students and recent graduates an opportunity to informally meet with government agencies and public interest organizations to learn about the employers and available internship and job opportunities. Employers may participate in Table Talk either in addition to or in lieu of conducting on-campus or virtual interviews.

Join Zachary Smith from AccessLex for a virtual presentation discussing topics regarding legal salaries, taxes, benefits, and Public Service Loan Forgiveness. Afterwards, there will be a brief Q&A session. AccessLex is a partner of the participating law schools of the Public Service Career Fair and offers a wealth of free information and one-on-one counseling. This event is co-sponsored by the William Wayne Justice Center and the Texas Law Office of Financial Aid.

- Participation dates will be assigned based on this registration timestamp. Requests are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- There is no cost to participate.
- Space for Table Talk is limited to 30 tables per day; therefore, each employer is limited to 1 table (organization-wide).
- Space for the interview program is extremely limited; therefore, each employer is limited to 1 room/interview schedule on 1 date (organization-wide). Scheduled interviews will be awarded by 100% employer-selection.
- Participation in Table Talk is not required to register for the interview program. Participation in the interview program is not required to register for Table Talk.
- You only need to complete the form once if you would like to have your registration request considered for participation in both events.

- Each organization will be assigned to 1 table (6-ft L x 2.5-ft W) with a tablecloth and 2 chairs.
- Each table can comfortably accommodate 4 attendees; therefore, a maximum of 4-6 representatives is allowed.
- You may bring any marketing and promotional materials that fit on the table, including your own tablecloth.
- Due to space limitations, please refrain from bringing pop-up banners as we are unable to accommodate each organization’s banners.
- Check-in begins at 10:30 a.m. (CT) in the Susman Godfrey Atrium (TNH 2.100).
- Lunch will be served at 11:00 a.m. (CT).
- Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available.

About the 12Twenty In-App Video | Employer Responsibilities
Please ensure that each interviewer, including yourself, reviews the Employer Guide to Interviews using In-App Video, which contains action items for your IT Department and instructions on how to prepare your device.- Video links will be sent directly to designated interviewers 48 hours before the Fair.
- For enhanced use, interviewers may need to log off from their computer’s VPN.
- Note that the interview platform is not optimized for use on a smartphone, so please plan to use your desktop or laptop computer.
- If you need to reassign a new interviewer, you may forward your link for them to attend in your place. The new interviewer may update their name once they access the meeting room. You may not forward links to more than one person as the original links may only be used by one interviewer.
- If you need to reassign more than one new interviewer, please email cso@law.utexas.edu with the names, titles, emails, and times so we can create new links for them.

- Due to construction on campus, parking is extremely limited. We strongly encourage rideshares or carpools as we cannot guarantee parking availability on campus. The parking garages closest to the Law School are the San Jacinto Garage and Manor Garage. If you plan to use rideshare, the best place to be dropped off is on the southside of the Law School on Trinity St. [See Directions & Parking]

All students and recent graduates (up to one year after graduation) from participating law schools are encouraged to join us at the 2026 Public Service Career Fair.
Representatives from dozens of public interest organizations and government agencies will be in attendance for the Table Talk networking event to discuss the work they do and answer questions. Find out about volunteer opportunities, summer/term-time internships, and paid positions with a variety of public-sector organizations. Be sure to have copies of your resume on-hand.
In addition to hosting informational tables at Table Talk, various nonprofits, legal services providers, and government agencies will be conducting interviews for internships and post-graduate positions during the dates of the Fair. Scheduled interviews for this program will be awarded by 100% employer-selection.
If you choose to participate in this program, it is important to keep in mind that it is just one avenue for conducting your job search. We encourage you to reach out to your respective Career Services Office to discuss your strategy, access tools for researching employers, view networking/interviewing tips and policies, and schedule a mock interview.

Although the timing of your submission within the application period does not affect your interview chances, we strongly encourage you not to wait until the last minute. You may submit and revise your materials at any point during the application period; however, please ensure that all submissions and interview availability are finalized before the application deadline.
- First, log into the PSCF module.
- Go to the [Jobs & Interview Programs] tab on the left-navigation bar and click [Search].
- Go to the [Interview Programs] tab on the top, click the [OCI Round] filter, and select [Public Service Career Fair 2026] from the drop-down menu. This will give you a list of employers participating in the program.
- To view more information for an employer, click the job listing.
- To apply to an employer, click the job listing and then the [ Apply ] button to add your documents. You must upload files in PDF format.
- You may edit or withdraw your application by clicking back into the employer’s job listing and selecting the subsequent options.
Important Transcripts Note
Employers understand that you may not have received your grades yet. If you are a 2L or 3L, upload your most current transcript. If you are a 1L and your grades have not been released, you may create a Word document stating this and indicating that you will provide a transcript at the interview or upon request. Convert the document to a PDF and save it as your ‘transcript.’ You may update your applications if grades are released prior to the application deadline.
