If you choose to participate in the Summer Interview Program: Session I, it is important to keep in mind that this program is just one avenue for conducting your job search.
Students interested in applying for 2L summer clerkships with Big Law firms should not rely solely on this or any interview program as their primary avenue for applications. We encourage you to apply to our interview programs and also apply directly to large law firms through their online application portals. We anticipate most large law firm employers will begin the recruiting process by the end of the spring semester. Prior to bidding, we encourage you to submit your resume and cover letter for review by a career counselor by sending your materials in MS Word format on or before June 16, 2025 to cso-resumes@law.utexas.edu.
Please visit the Summer Interview Program: Session I Canvas webpage for detailed information about the program, how to apply, resources for researching employers, and more. Scheduled interviews for this program will be awarded by 100% employer selection.

About the 12Twenty In-App Video | Recruiter & Interviewer Responsibilities
Please ensure that each interviewer, including yourself, reviews the Employer Guide to Interviews using In-App Video, which contains action items for your IT Department and instructions on how to prepare your device.- For enhanced use, interviewers may need to log off from their computer’s VPN.
- Note that the interview platform is not optimized for use on a smartphone, so please plan to use your desktop or laptop computer.
- If you need to reassign a new interviewer, you may forward your link for them to attend in your place. The new interviewer may update their name once they access the meeting room. You may not forward links to more than one person as the original links may only be used by one interviewer.
- If you need to reassign more than one new interviewer, please email cso@law.utexas.edu with the names, titles, emails, and times so we can create new links for them.
