Texas Talks: 2L Summer Recruiting Preview (Law Firms) is our new private sector tabling event held at the Law School. We are excited to offer this in-person tabling opportunity for law firm employers to connect with our exceptional class of 2026 ahead of the 2L summer recruiting season. This event is intended for employers who plan to participate in one or more of our summer recruitment programs.
As part of the program, each firm will receive a resume book from students interested in meeting them (organized by locations of interest).

- Students may submit resumes to resume books for participating employers beginning at noon (CT) on April 4, 2024.
- Resume book submissions closes at 11:59 p.m. (CT) on April 11, 2024.

- Please only submit your resume to employers and locations where you may actually be interested in working. Pay special attention to any employers that have preferred or required backgrounds for intellectual property (IP) resume books.
- Submitting your resume through these resume books is not a substitute for submitting a formal application to the employer through their preferred application method, but employers may reach out to you once they have your resume.
- To submit your resume:
- Make sure you have a PDF-copy of your resume uploaded in your “Application Materials” on TEX.
- Click on “Events” on the left navigation bar.
- For each firm + location you are interested in sharing your resume with, click on that entry and select “Register Now.” Follow the prompts to register for each employer.
- To remove your resume from a resume book after submitting it, select “Cancel Registration” for that particular employer location.
