How we accept cases
Persons charged with misdemeanors in Travis County may call 512-232-1300 to request an intake appointment. The phone is answered by the clinic coordinator or student practitioners who can provide immediate assistance. Our outgoing voicemail message will indicate if we are accepting new clients.
We only accept new clients from early September until mid-November in the Fall and late January until early April in the Spring. We are not able to accept any new clients during the summer months or during winter break when student practitioners are not present.
We are only able to assist with misdemeanor charges in Travis County. For assistance finding legal representation for any other type of case please contact the Travis County Bar Lawyer Referral Service at (512) 472-8303.
