If an instructor is ill or injured or otherwise unable to teach as scheduled, a makeup class should be scheduled as far in advance as practicable. Instructors may schedule makeup classes in-person or by Zoom, provided that makeup classes should be scheduled only where unavoidable, and Zoom makeups in particular should be kept to a minimum, generally not more than twice per semester. Please contact your faculty coordinator for assistance with room reservations or Zoom links for a makeup class. Unless makeup class times are announced on the class schedule at the time of registration, student attendance should not be required.
