Public Service Career Fair

This year’s Public Service Career Fair (PSCF) will be exclusive to Texas Law students. During both days of PSCF, public interest and government employers will conduct virtual interviews for paid and unpaid summer and postgraduate positions. 1Ls, 2Ls, 3Ls, domestic and foreign-trained LL.M.s, and recent graduates (up to one year after graduation) may participate in this program.

Public Service Table Talk

Flo Recruit

In conjunction with the Public Service Career Fair, 30+ employers will be hosting virtual table talks from 11:00 a.m.-noon (Central) on Thursday, February 4, on Flo Recruit. During the hour, each participating employer will have four 15-minute video chat sessions with up to four students in each session (or a total of 16 students per hour). You will be able to sign up for no more than four employers.

Sign up on Flo Recruit is on a first-come, first-served basis no later than noon on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. Hurry while spots are still available!

The Second Founding: 14th Amendment Originalism

Please join the Texas Federalist Society as we host Professor Ilan Wurman of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University to discuss his new book titled The Second Founding: An Introduction to the Fourteenth Amendment. Professor Wurman will discuss the original meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment's most famous provisions and provide context for how the Amendment's framers sought to use those provisions to solve some of the 19th century's greatest challenges.

Weighing in on the discussion will be Professor Evan Bernick of Georgetown Law. Professor Bernick serves as the Executive Director of the Georgetown Center for the Constitution.

The first 50 Texas Law students to register will receive a $10 redemption code for DoorDash to enjoy a meal during the event.
