    (Law) School of Rock

Assault & Flattery is back live and in person with their 69th musical "(Law) School of Rock!"

We join Dewey, a washed up Austin rocker who sleeps in the storage area of Crown & Anchor and can’t find anyone to join his band for ACL’s Battle of the Bands. After conning his way into teaching the “History of Rockin Law” short course at Texas Law, Dewey realizes that his winning ticket to ACL may just be among the gunners, Big Law bros, and public interest law students in his class. Can the law students loosen up and learn to stick it to the Man? Will Legendary Rock n’Roll Attorney Ned Schneebly reveal Dewey’s true identity? Is it possible to teach law school without a J.D.? What’s the real reason Dean Farnsworth is leaving? And why on earth does Led Zeppelin keep getting sued for copyright infringement? Come to the show for all the answers!

Live music will be provided by our very own band §ex Parte and our acapella powerhouse Supreme Chorus will provide an intermission concert.

    The show will have 3 performances: - Thursday, March 3rd @ 7:30 pm - Friday, March 4th @ 7:30 pm - Saturday, March 5th @ 7:30 pm

Tickets are available for purchase online at assaultandflattery.com/buy-tickets and at the law school atrium between Feb 28th and March 3rd.

This year, we're venturing away from our home base at the Utopia Theater in the School of Social Work and performing at the Scottish Rite Theater in Austin, TX! Bring your friends and be merry. Please note: proof of a negative COVID test is required within 48 hours of your performance date and masks will be required in the auditorium.
