August On-Campus Interviews

Event Date:

For Students

You may apply (submit bids) at any time as there is no advantage to bidding early. If you choose to participate in OCI, it is important to keep in mind that this program is just one avenue for conducting your job search as many OCI employers tend to have fairly established hiring criteria.

For Employers

Below is an update about the spring 2020 academic semester and our upcoming recruiting programs.

Spring 2020 Semester Grades
In response to the current worldwide health crisis, including the shift to virtual instruction for the remainder of the spring 2020 semester, The University of Texas School of Law has adopted a mandatory pass/fail grading system for all spring 2020 semester courses.  This applies to all J.D. and LL.M. students.

Upcoming Interview Programs
With the health and welfare of our students and employers top of mind, we will be rescheduling our August OCI program and job fairs previously scheduled for this summer.  We are exploring all options for timing and format of these interview programs, and will provide you updated program dates, including new registration dates, as soon as available.

We value our partnership with you and your commitment to recruiting our students and graduates.  Please contact me with any questions or concerns.  As always, we welcome your feedback and ideas.

Thank you too for continuing to share with us your communications with our students regarding your upcoming summer internship program.  I am confident that together we will effectively address the many challenges this global pandemic presents for our students and your recruiting and hiring needs.

Best wishes to you and your family – David Montoya, Assistant Dean for Career Services,

Interviewing dates are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that there is now a two-step registration process for August OCI.
