Tom Bohl is an assistant attorney general at the Texas Attorney General’s Office, where he has worked for 21 years, defending state environmental appeals in district and appellate courts, prosecuting civil suits to enforce environmental and public health laws, and representing the state in interstate water matters. Learn about practicing law for a union legal department, a workers’ rights center, a law firm representing unions and workers, and a government agency regulating the workplace. Find out how to get a job promoting workplace justice. In addition, learn about the Peggy Browning Fund Fellowship Program, which offers 10-week funded summer fellowships for first and second-year law students, provides stipends to law students who dedicate their summer to advancing the cause of workers’ rights, and encourages law students to consider labor law as a viable career choice.
