You will then be asked to create a profile that includes your name and class year. You may also upload a photo, resume, and your LinkedIn profile link that will be shared with employers when you enter their booth.

Texas Talks serves as a chance for 2Ls, 3Ls, and LL.M.s to connect with a variety of law firms and businesses in a virtual environment. Many of these employers are expected to participate in January “On-Campus” Interviews.

2Ls and 3Ls may submit a resume to employers requesting your class year starting at noon on Monday, October 5, through noon on Friday, October 9, 2020, via Symplicity. [scheduling information]

Presented each fall by the CSO, the Public Service Expo offers all Texas Law students an opportunity to informally meet with government agencies and public interest organizations to learn about the employers and available internship and job opportunities.

Texas Law 2Ls will discuss their summer judicial internship experiences and how they secured their positions during this live Zoom panel. Learn about judicial internships, the courts that have them, and how to apply. Panelists TBD.

There are hundreds of summer judicial internship opportunities available with municipal, state, and federal courts nationwide. Early December is a good time to send out applications and academic credit is available through the Judicial Internship Program for summer internships with eligible courts. This is a great opportunity for 1Ls and 2Ls alike!
