The Clinic has provided me with an amazing opportunity to work directly with clients who have challenging cases. The experience also provided me with several opportunities to hone my advocacy skills by first chairing during all hearings and trials. My work at the DVC has also been critical to my development and has reminded me that I chose to become a lawyer so that I could help individuals obtain access to the law. Under the wonderful supervision of Jeana Lungwitz, I always knew that I was practicing law the “right” way—with the civility, professionalism, and passion that all persons deserve when being legally represented.
