Mike A. Myers Fellowship in Public Interest Law

Mike A. Myers ’63, generously supports this new fellowship to increase access to justice for underserved individuals and communities. The fellowship creates opportunities for graduates to begin their legal careers by engaging in public service to benefit society.

The one-year fellowship funds an outstanding graduating student or judicial clerk to work with a nonprofit organization providing legal services to victims of domestic violence or sexual assault. A strong preference will be given to fellowship applicants proposing to work with Texas Advocacy Project (a statewide nonprofit organization headquartered in Austin).
