At The University of Texas School of Law, LL.M. students have access to comprehensive resources to help develop their career path. Students may meet with career counselors, have their resume and cover letters reviewed, and receive guidance on how to make the most of their LL.M. year.
Some foreign-trained LL.M. students desire to work in the United States after graduation. While the CSO will help advise students on their job search and make them aware of available opportunities, it is important to understand that very few foreign-trained LL.M. students secure full-time employment in the United States. Therefore, it is important to keep an open mind when considering various postgraduation opportunities.
