Michael Goldman

As an intern for the 1st Texas Court of Appeals, I got the hands-on experience that was a perfect complement to a first year education – and I’d call those six weeks as important as the year that preceded it!  I highly recommended a judicial internship. One’s writing and research abilities improve dramatically.  An intern learns what a judge looks for in deciding a case, and develops a more complex and subtle understanding of and approach to the law.  It’s also a great opportunity to learn about the areas of the law, whether criminal or civil, that interest a student the most.  It is an experience not to be missed!
