Students will assist the Managing Attorney for the Austin Bar's Veterans Legal Advice Program by responding to intake calls from veterans seeking assistance related to a variety of legal issues, including divorce; child support and custody; consumer and contract issues; criminal law issues; wills, estates, guardianship, and probate; housing and landlord/tenant issues; and bankruptcy. Students will screen veterans for eligibility and obtain initial information about their legal needs.
