Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Clinic with Texas Here to Stay

Students will help undocumented students and graduates (aka “DREAMers”) complete applications to renew their Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status. DACA renewal will extend their protection from deportation, as well as authorization to work legally, for a period of two years. The U.S. government recently announced a plan to rescind the DACA program; under that plan, applications for DACA renewal must be filed no later than October 5.

Organization

Texas Here to Stay

Texas Here to Stay is a coalition of organizations working together to strengthen our diverse community by ensuring legal information and services for all immigrants in Central Texas. Texas Here to Stay is hosting the DACA renewals clinic in partnership with the University Leadership Initiative.
