Name, Image & Likeness Contract Coaching

Students will explain name, image and likeness (NIL) rights; NIL contract basics; and the potential benefits of LLCs to student influencers, including student athletes, and answer their questions about these topics. Students may choose to volunteer at a March 19 event open to all UT students or at a March 27 event that will focus on student athletes.

Organization

Mithoff Pro Bono Program

The Mithoff Program’s Transactional Project provides legal support to local small business owners without access to legal services, and gives law students an opportunity to build transactional legal skills. The project advises entrepreneurs on choice of entity, NIL, forming an LLC, trademark protection, and corporate governance and compliance issues.
