Solitary Confinement Project with Texas Civil Rights Project

Students will work with TCRP lawyers for a week over winter break. Students will conduct research and analysis for TCRP’s ongoing 50-state survey of solitary confinement practices, which will be used to support litigation and advocacy that will challenge solitary confinement practices in Texas and seek to minimize, if not end, solitary confinement in Texas.

Organization

Texas Civil Rights Project

Texas Civil Rights Project consists of Texas lawyers and advocates for Texas communities, boldly serving the movement for equality and justice in and out of the courts. TCRP envisions a Texas where all communities can thrive with dignity and justice, and without fear.
