UT Law Career Services Office announces 2013 Study Break Public Service Stipend recipients

The Law School’s Career Services Office (CSO) has announced second-year students Tim Emmons, Olga Medina and Jorge Ramirez as recipients of the 2013 CSO Study Break Public Service Stipend.

For the fourth consecutive year, the CSO has offered stipends to support unpaid summer internships in the public sector as part of their annual Study Break, which was held this year on April 16. Each recipient received a $4,000 stipend, donated by sponsors of the Study Break, to support his or her summer public-service work. “Students and sponsors have been very responsive to the Stipend Program, and we are thankful for our sponsors’ generosity in supporting our public service-minded students,” said David A. Montoya, assistant dean for career services.
