James Aycock, a shareholder with the San Antonio firm Langley & Banack, Inc., received the Distinguished Probate Attorney Lifetime Achievement Award from the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Texas (www.reptl.org). The honor was presented to Aycock at the Advanced Estate Planning & Probate course in Houston on June 8, 2017.
“Jim’s professionalism coupled with his client-centric style and vast knowledge of the law make him one of the best estate attorneys in Texas,” said Art Bayern, a Langley & Banack shareholder and a member of the Texas Law Class of ’65. “The Lifetime Achievement Award is a much-deserved nod to a man who is known for those skills by the entire legal community, and I am honored to call him my partner and friend.”
Mr. Bayern received this award himself in 2004.
