Texas Law Alumnus Receives Outstanding Young Texas Ex Award

Since 1980, the Texas Exes have honored alumni age 39 and younger whose character, professional achievements, and service to the University of Texas are truly exceptional. They have just announced the winners of the 2018 Outstanding Young Texas Ex Awards, and the list includes a Texas Law alumnus, Bryan Jones ’05.

From the Texas Exes announcement:

Bryan Jones, BS ’00, JD, MBA ’05, Life Member, is an entrepreneur and technologist who has started several companies and been issued multiple technology-based patents. He is currently the COO at uStudio. Previously he co-founded Strive and Solve Ventures, GetHealthy, b.well Health, and Collider Media. While at UT, Jones was a 21-time All-American swimmer and captained the 2000 NCAA Championship team. He has served as a board member of several organizations, including The Athletes Village, TeamTopia, StandUp Republic, the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, PeopleFund, USA Swimming, The Seton Fifty, and the Texas Exes.

The other awardees for 2018 are Michelle Carter, BS ’07, Leon Chen, BBA ’01, and Rosa Flores, BBA, MPA ’01, BJ ’05.
