Law Students for the Arts (LSfTA), a student group at the Law School, with support from Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts (TALA), will offer a free legal clinic for low-income artists on Thursday, March 31, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the offices of Fulbright & Jaworski LLP at 600 Congress Avenue, Suite 2400. -

The University of Texas School of Law and the Chicano/Hispanic Law Students’ Association (CHLSA) will celebrate the organization’s fortieth anniversary with a banquet that includes a keynote address by former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin. UT Law alumnus and prominent trial attorney Joseph D. Jamail Jr., ’52, will introduce Richardson at the sold-out event. -

On Saturday, March 5, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the University of Texas at Austin will host “the biggest open house in Texas”—Explore UT. This annual event is a hands-on introduction to the University to schoolchildren from kindergarten through high school through a variety of events, performances, lectures, exhibits, and other activities. -
