Facilities Office

The Texas Law Facilities Office works with law school, university and outside offices, shops or vendors to administer, preserve and renew the infrastructure of the school.

Services include: key authorizations, visitor parking coordination, moving and storage, mail and supply, property inventory and transfers, room use inventory, fire safety and security coordination, design and renovation project participation, and other services affecting the buildings and their physical contents, design and planning.

Special Event/Facilities Requests

Please follow the steps on the Special Events Requests page to 1) reserve a room and 2) submit your Event/Facilities requests, which will route to the Special Events and Facilities teams.

Shipping/Receiving & Copy Center

  • Shipping/Receiving & Copy Center (JON 1.207) hours are Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m. Please plan accordingly for the pickup and drop-off of materials.
  • Color/BW Copies and Posters — Please use the Texas Law Print & Copy Submission Form (qualtrics.com) to submit your copying requests. We can do larger format printing (up to 24″ x 36″)and foam board mounting. Turnaround time for larger orders and large-format printing is 24 to 48 hours. Please submit PDFs whenever possible.
  • FedEx and UPS Shipping must now coordinate through Shipping/Receiving; old FedEx account numbers no longer work. Please use this Shipping Request Form (pdf) and ensure that it is completed in its entirety.  Packaging materials are available.
  • USPS Metered Mail – To have your outgoing USPS mail metered for postage, please submit the Document Solutions Mail Acceptance Form. Please remember to include a 10-digit account number. Please print this form and bundle it with your pre-addressed mail pieces. Place your outgoing mail in the labeled drawer in the Communications Center.

Communications Center

The Communications Center in the Susman Godfrey Atrium is the law school’s central switchboard, where faculty, staff, registered student organizations/journals, and university-sponsored projects can be assigned a mailbox.
