The Texas Law Review will hold its annual symposium, on “Constitutional Foundations,” will take place at the University of Texas School of Law on February 15–16, 2013. The Texas Law Review has partnered with Professors Alexander Tsesis, of Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and Sanford Levinson, of the University of Texas School of Law, to host a symposium that will bring together several of the most renowned constitutional scholars to debate the interpretation of U.S. constitutional law.

At this year’s banquet, the Texas Law Review Association honored Chief Justice Wallace Jefferson, '88, of the Supreme Court of Texas, awarding him the Association’s highest award—the Leon Green Award—in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the legal profession.

The Texas Law Review is holding a symposium entitled “Reshaping Capital Markets and Institutions: Twenty Years On” at the University of Texas School of Law on Friday, February 24, and Saturday, February 25, 2012. In memory of Gregory Scott Coleman, ’92, the law firm Yetter Coleman LLP and members of the Law School community have created the Gregory S. Coleman Memorial Scholarship to honor his many contributions to the field of jurisprudence.
